In 1993, they were ranked 8th at the Junior World Championship, and in 1994, they were 7th. The pair briefly collaborated with Maxim Kachanov. Later, as a team, they placed 5th at the Goodwill Games. Their collaboration was equally effective in that they were awarded the Finlandia Trophy twice and also participated in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating.
